WHO ARE WE?
Founded in 1982 as a domestic transportation company, Meltem International Transportation Inc. has steadily expanded its operations to become a leader in international logistics. In 1993, Meltem GmbH was established in Germany, marking the company’s entry into European transportation services. This milestone was followed by the launch of intermodal transportation in 1995 through the integration of Ro-Ro lines. By 1998, the establishment of the Istanbul branch had further strengthened Meltem’s service network across Turkey, and in 2004, the company introduced Turkey’s first and only double-deck vehicle fleet. Achieving ISO 9001 Quality Management System certification in 2005 and inaugurating the Izmir branch in 2006, MELTEM continued its upward trajectory.
Operating in Antalya since 2009, Meltem International Transportation has significantly enhanced its storage and warehousing services with the launch of its bonded warehousing facilities. In 2012, the company expanded its service network to include fresh produce, frozen foods, and temperature-controlled medical equipment transportation with the addition of a renewed fleet of refrigerated vehicles. Celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2022, Meltem International Transportation Inc. continues to strengthen its position as an industry leader with its reliable and consistent service approach.
