Oktay Berberoğlu
Founding Member
Graduating from the Department of Economic and Commercial Sciences at Istanbul University, he began his professional career in 1972 in the domestic transportation sector and entered the international transportation sector in 1976. In 1982, he founded Meltem Uluslararası Taşımacılık Ticaret A.Ş. for European transport operations, and in 1993, he established the German-based Meltem Internationale Spedition und Handels GMBH, which provided a significant competitive advantage in international transportation activities.
In the following years, in addition to international transportation, he invested in the food distribution and agriculture sectors by founding Meltem Lojistik Gıda Paz. A.Ş. in 2004 and Meltem Meyve Sebze Ltd. Şti. in 2007. Under Meltem Lojistik Gıda Paz. A.Ş., he started the central distribution of Tuborg – Carlsberg Beers in Antalya and gradually included leading brands in the distribution portfolio, such as Dimes, Diren, Pınar Su, and Kızılay Sodaları. He currently serves as the Chairman of the Executive Board for all companies within the Meltem Group of Companies.

Upon returning to Turkey in 2002, he assumed the role of Branch Manager at Meltem Uluslararası Taş.Tic.A.Ş Istanbul Branch. Since 2003, he has been serving as the General Director at Meltem Uluslararası Taşımacılık. Additionally, Mert Berberoğlu continues to serve as the Vice Chairman of the Executive Board for all group companies under MELTEM.

She started her professional career in 1999 as a Lecturer in the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Business Administration at Akdeniz University. In 2002, she completed her Master's degree, and in 2009, she completed her Ph.D. in Cost Accounting. Until 2005, she worked as a Lecturer in the Department of Accounting and Finance at Akdeniz University. In 2005, she began working as Finance Manager at Meltem Uluslararası Taşımacılık A.Ş. She obtained her Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license in 2007. She is currently serving as the Financial and Administrative Coordinator of Meltem Uluslararası Taşımacılık A.Ş.
